Scoil Naomh Eirc has been a pilot school for the Languages Connect in association with the Department of Education since the school year 2021/ 2022. The children from 3rd to 6th classes have been learning Spanish .

The Creative Schools Initiative supports schools to put the arts and creativity at the heart of children’s lives. The Creative School Journey began in 2021. Projects completed included Pottery, Construction and a school musical.

The Erasmus + initiative offers the opportunity to schools and other organisations active in the field of school education to organise learning mobility activities for school pupils and staff. In April 2023 Mrs Crowe, Ms Lawlor and Miss Ryan had the opportunity to engage in Continuous Professional Development in Outdoor Education in Helsinki Finland.
